An efficient surface treatment is done on a product for either improved cosmetic appearance, corrosion resistance, improved paint adhesion, or increased surface hardness. UTAM has well equipped surface treatment and painting facility in place to cater to varied requirements of a wide spectrum of applications.

Grit Blasting / Pickling / Phosphating procedures are used for surface preparation prior to painting / coating. A team of skilled painters have experience to handle customer specifications ranging from single coat systems to typically complex and critical multi coat Epoxy / Poly Urethane systems for more severe services. UTAM also has an in-house facility to powder coat products with Epoxy / Nylon coatings for corrosive environments.

Qualified Supervisors practice well documented Quality Procedures, Process Parameters and Work Instructions to ensure that the Paint / Finish on every UTAM product meet the required standard or customer requirements, if required.
