Every product manufactured at UTAM is designed following internationally accepted stringent design procedures in compliance with various International standards. A typical product development life cycle at UTAM includes:

• 1) Project Conception
• 2) Review of the respective design standards such as ISO, API, ASME, IBR, ASTM, MSS-SP, BS EN, DIN, PED, etc.
• 3) Review of engineering calculations
• 4) CFD & FEA. - The valve assembly is simulated using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for desired flow characteristics. All valve parts are simulated for integrity using Finite Element Analysis (Ansys Fluent)
• 5) Detailed Drawings of all valve parts.
